8.Gino Marchetti, one of the most formidable defensive lineman of all time and, to many, the epitome of The Greatest Generation, has left an indelible impression on Keith Carter.
Marchetti fought in World War II, spoke out for racial equality more than a decade before the Civil Rights Movement, and went on to become a wealthy restaurateur following his illustrious football career. Carter is currently the offensive line coach for the Tennessee Titans, and Marchetti, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, was his grandfather.
