This season, Seattle hopes to maintain its dominant position in the NFC West.
The Seahawks may have had a turbulent offseason, but they should once again be one of the best teams in the NFL this season.
While the Broncos may not have what it takes to win the AFC West this season, they still have a deep roster and are only one excellent season away from making the playoffs.

Floyd Reese, the General Manager of the Tennessee Titans’ Super Bowl squad, died at the age of 73.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) —
— Floyd Reese, the general manager who put together the Titans’ lone Super Bowl roster, passed away on Saturday.
His demise was revealed to the squad by his family.
According to a social media post from ESPN 102.5 The Game, where Reese worked until mid-December, Reese battled cancer and was with his family when he died.
Reese spent 21 years with the Oilers-Titans as a coach and administrator, and he is the franchise’s all-time winningest general manager.
“As general manager, he constructed a club that saw continuous success and guided our franchise through the best and worst of times,” controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk said.
“His excellent eye for talent led him to some of our team’s top players in history, which led to some of our greatest accomplishments,” said Reese, who will be enshrined into the team’s Ring of Honor this season.
Eddie George was the Associated Press NFL Rookie of the Year in 1996, followed by Jevon Kearse in 1999, and Vince Young in 2006.
Steve McNair, a co-NFL MVP in 2003, was elevated to No. 1 by him.
Being general manager of the Houston Oilers at the time, he selected the No. 3 overall choice in his second draft.
McNair and George, the 14th overall pick in 1996, were described by Reese as “important building stones.”
His wife, Sally, as well as his children and grandchildren, survive him.

The Atlanta Falcons have become the first team in the NFL to be fully immunized against Covid.

The Atlanta Falcons are the first NFL team to declare that all of their players have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
After coming into close contact with a positive case, players might stop completing daily testing, donning masks, and going into self-isolation because to their immunization status.
“On July 23, the Falcons reached a vaccination rate of 92 percent, ensuring that every player on the squad is protected against COVID-19.”

The news came about a month after NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced teams would be forced to forfeit games if they were unable to play due to Covid outbreaks and would not be compensated for games missed due to unvaccinated players.

According to NBC Sports, all 32 NFL clubs have a vaccination percentage of at least 75%, with 15 teams reaching 95%.
97.1 percent of gamers had received at least one immunization since the last survey on August 11th.
Georgia has fully immunized 39 percent of its population, one of the lowest rates in the country, according to data.
The state is currently facing daily increases of over 5,700 cases.
Governor Brian Kemp has promised to invest $125 million in financing to help the state’s overburdened hospitals.

The Atlanta Falcons are the first NFL team to be 100% COVID-vaccinated.

The Atlanta Falcons revealed on Monday that all of their players had received COVID-19 vaccinations, making them the first NFL team to do so.
On July 23, the Falcons reached a 92% vaccination percentage, meaning that every player on the roster is now immune to the virus.
“Each participant will now profit from the ability to work out and eat together.”
They won’t have to test every day, wear masks throughout the facility, or isolate anyone who comes into close contact with someone who tests positive,” according to the team’s website.
According to a statement released earlier this summer, NFL players are not obligated to obtain the COVID-19 vaccination, but teams might potentially forfeit a game if an outbreak among unvaccinated players occurs.
Commissioner Roger Goodell wrote in a document obtained by The Associated Press, “As we learned last year, we can play a full season if we maintain a solid commitment to following to our health and safety rules and making necessary adjustments in reaction to changing situations.”
“If a game cannot be rescheduled and is canceled due to a COVID epidemic among non-vaccinated players on one of the competing teams,” the document stated, “the team with the outbreak will forfeit and be assumed to have played 16 games for reasons of draft, waiver priority, and so on.”

COVID-19 vaccines are rejected by “a ton” of top NFL players?

Since the spring, the NFL and the NFL Players Association have stated that players are not required to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to compete in the next regular season. However, unvaccinated players can be penalized $14,650 each time they breach health and safety rules connected to the epidemic.
Those who remain unvaccinated must adhere to tight criteria similar to those in place for the 2020 campaign before vaccines became widely available, so players who refuse to get the shots will, on paper, “have a rougher time” from August to the end of the season.
In discussing the possibility of the NFL and NFLPA agreeing to required player vaccines, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk said that “a ton” of great players are opposed to the vaccine, and that mandated player coronavirus vaccines “won’t happen and can’t happen,” according to a source from “the management side of the ledger.”
If those ratings rise or fall after clubs trim rosters later this month, it might lead to some unpleasant locker-room conversations, especially among the league’s lowest-rated teams.

According to an AP source, the Jaguars have traded LB Joe Schobert to the Steelers as part of their rebuilding efforts.

The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to trade linebacker Joe Schobert, according to a source familiar with the situation.
Because neither side had publicly signed the contract, the person talked to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity Thursday night.
Schobert did confirm the trade to ESPN, saying “wonderful location to play behind that D-line.”
Both teams benefit from the move, and Schobert returns to the AFC North.
Cleveland was his home for the first four years of his NFL career.

Game Pass subscribers also receive access to full replays of all NFL games for the entire season, including the regular season.
This means that football fans can watch games seven days a week.
Buying an antenna is recommended if cost is an issue and you only want to watch your local NFL team’s games.
The rabbit ears, to be precise.
They don’t look like they did in the 1990s, rest assured.
Fans may watch their teams’ preseason games on FOX, CBS, or NBC for as little as $20.
They will, however, be unable to view any of the other 31 teams’ preseason games.
Why not go to the games if you want to have the most fun possible?
Tickets during the preseason are usually a fraction of the price of those for the regular season.
If you reside in the same city as your team, you might be able to attend all of the team’s home preseason games for less than the cost of a Game Pass.
Of course, that would entail skipping the preseason games of the other 31 clubs.
Of course, no fan is obligated to follow only one path.
