Bengals rookie DE Joseph Ossai will have knee surgery that will conclude his season.

Cincinnati will be without Ossai, a third-round pick who was a breakout star throughout training camp and in the team’s first preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Tom Brady was sacked by Ossai in his preseason debut.
With the Bengals, he was a steady presence, and they had great expectations for him in 2021.
In 29 games, the 21-year-old had 11.5 sacks, two interceptions, five forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, three pass breakups, 165 tackles, and 30 tackles for a loss.
Spence has played in the NFL for four seasons, three of which he spent with the Buccaneers before joining the Washington Football Team for the 2019 season.
In 2020, he signed with the New Orleans Saints, but due to a ruptured ACL, he missed the full season.
The 27-year-old re-signed with the Saints this summer, but was released after his first preseason appearance.
Spence has 7.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, two pass breakups, 37 tackles, three tackles for a loss, and sixteen quarterback hits in 41 career games.

Preview, team news, and predictions for the New York Giants vs. Cleveland Browns game on August 22nd, 2021.

The New York Giants have endured a grueling training camp, which has already resulted in two brawls.
One was against their own offense and defense, which left starting quarterback Daniel Jones at the bottom of the standings.
Joe Judge, the head coach of the New York Giants, made the entire team run as if they were in training to be Navy SEALs.
The second incident occurred on Friday, when New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard and Cleveland Browns cornerback Troy Hill threw punches at each other during a joint practice ahead of their preseason matchup in Week 2.
New York may struggle in their upcoming game based on joint practices.
Cleveland produced a scoring drive during 11-on-11 drills, while the Giants had a quick three-and-out.
After today’s joint practices, #Giants WR Sterling Shepard and #Browns CB Troy Hill squared up and were ready to throw punches.
John Ross appears to have stepped in and gotten Shepard out of there.
This is the final few seconds.

CB Keion Crossen, CB Josh Jackson ll, and OL Ted Larsen, all new roster additions, could see plenty of action.
After suffering a concussion, QB Clayton Thorson was dismissed and replaced by QB Brian Lewerke, who should play the most of the second half.

With Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. presumably out, expect WR Donovan Peoples-Jones to continue to shine on the field.
DT Malik McDowell (who might be cut by Tuesday if he doesn’t make an impact) and LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (who is hoping to rise up the depth chart after leading the club in tackles last week) are two players to keep an eye on on defense.
Cleveland Browns 27-17 Cleveland Browns The Browns are 4.5-point favorites at -200 to win the game.
They have a chance to win by at least ten points.
After leading the Browns in tackles and tackles for loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars (8 tackles, 3 TFL, 1 sack), rookie LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah could be the game’s MVP.
After a total of 28 carries for 41 yards (1.6 yards per carry), Cleveland’s run game has to improve.
When they sort out the bottom of their WR depth chart in the second half, the New York Giants are expected to throw the ball more.
With Barkley out, RB Corey Clement could get a plenty of carries in the first quarter.

Preseason OT watch list for the 2022 NFL Draft includes Evan Neal, Charles Cross, and Nicholas Petit-Frere.

The last two NFL Draft classes have been the answer to a league’s prayers for young, talented offensive lineman performance, with eight tackles taken in the top 20 picks.
Will the 2022 class continue this pattern at a position where numerous teams have a critical need?
Possibilities
The top five offensive tackles on this list aren’t the most well-known players, but they all have the potential to be first-round picks in April if they keep improving.
(Note: The asterisk denotes draft-eligible freshmen.)
NFL teams keep heights and weights on file for each player, which may differ from school rosters.) 1
*Evan Neal, Alabama (6-7, 357) Greatest Trait: Unusual size/moves There aren’t many players in the NFL or college who have Neal’s blend of natural size, flexibility, and movements.

The Seahawks are said to have made an offer to Jamal Adams and are waiting to hear back.

According to ESPN’s Brady Henderson, the Seattle Seahawks have reportedly made another offer to Jamal Adams and are waiting to hear whether he will accept it.
Henderson adds that the Seahawks and Adams’ agency haven’t communicated in several days.
Adams is seeking a contract extension that would make him the highest-paid safety in the NFL, surpassing Justin Simmons of the Denver Broncos’ $15.25 million per year average.
Due to his contract circumstances, the 25-year-old arrived at training camp on time this summer but has yet to practice.
According to Henderson, Adams and the Seahawks had been talking about a deal all offseason and have only lately come to a halt.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Seahawks are willing to make Adams the highest-paid safety in the league.
According to Garafolo, the veteran safety sees himself as more of a Fred Warner than a Simmons.
Warner recently inked a five-year, $95 million agreement with the San Francisco 49ers ($19 million AAV).
The Seahawks, on the other hand, are allegedly interested in keeping Bobby Wagner, their highest-paid defensive player, at $18 million per year.
As a result, it appears unlikely that Adams will receive money from Seattle in the same way that Warner did.
In 12 games last season, Adams, 25, set a career high with 9.5 sacks, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, 83 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, and 14 quarterback hits.
After three seasons with the New York Jets, it was his first season with the Seahawks.
For the time being, Adams will play the 2021 season on his fifth-year option, which pays $9.86 million.

Xavien Howard, a cornerback for the Miami Dolphins, has requested a trade after only two seasons on a five-year, $75 million contract.

Xavien Howard: Miami Dolphins CB demands trade two seasons into five-year, $75 million contract Xavien Howard racked up $67,000 in fines after missing minicamp last month Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard requested a trade only hours after arriving to training camp on Tuesday.
Howard issued a post on social media in May 2019, saying he signed a five-year, $75.25 million (PS54.3 million) deal “that I’ll admit I didn’t totally understand” at the time.
“I didn’t grumble for two seasons on that agreement,” Howard added, “but everyone knows I completely surpassed that deal.”
“The footage backs up my claim that I’m one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL.”
“We wanted to work things out with the Dolphins, and offered solutions to the table – like guaranteeing more money – that we felt were win-wins for both sides,” Howard said, adding, “I’m the second-highest paid cornerback on my own club, and it’s not even close.” Howard said he never requested for a new deal, adding, “We wanted to work things out with the Dolphins, and presented solutions to the table – like guaranteeing more money – that we felt
“But, the Dolphins turned down all we offered.”
The Dolphins don’t seem to value or respect me.
“I can take a business-first approach just like they can.”
That’s why I’d like to make it plain that I’m not satisfied and have asked for a transfer.” Howard racked up $93,000 in fines after missing Miami’s mandated minicamp last month.
In 2021, the two-time Pro Bowler will earn a basic salary of $12.075 million (PS8.7 million).
Byron Jones, on the other hand, will earn more this season – $14 million (PS10 million) – after signing a five-year, $82.5 million (PS59.5 million) contract in March 2020.
In a video uploaded by the Dolphins earlier on Tuesday, Howard was seen fist-bumping wide receiver Jakeem Grant.
When asked about Howard’s comeback, Dolphins coach Brian Flores was evasive.
“We’re looking forward to working with X and all of the other players here,” he said.
Howard, 28, led the NFL with 10 interceptions and 20 passes defensed last season, adding 51 tackles and one forced fumble in 16 games.
Since being drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft by Miami, he has 191 tackles, 22 interceptions, and two forced fumbles in 56 career games (55 starts).

According to sources, Fred Warner and the San Francisco 49ers have agreed to a five-year, $95 million contract extension.

Sources tell ESPN’s Adam Schefter that All-Pro linebacker Frank Warner and the 49ers agreed on a five-year, $95 million agreement on Wednesday that will keep him in San Francisco until 2026.
According to Schefter, Warner, who was entering the final year of his current contract, will receive a guaranteed $40.5 million as part of the agreement.
According to ESPN Stats & Information, the $40.5 million guaranteed is the second-highest guaranteed amount for a non-edge-rushing linebacker in the NFL, behind C.J. Spiller.
The New York Jets have guaranteed Mosley $51 million.
Warner, a former third-round draft pick who was invited to the Pro Bowl for the first time last season after recording 125 tackles and two interceptions, declared earlier this offseason that he wants to be a “Niner for life.”
Warner has 366 tackles since 2018, and is one of only two players in the NFL with at least 250 solo tackles (252) and at least 15 pass breakups (16) in the last three years, alongside Seattle’s Bobby Wagner.
