Mike McCarthy’s remarksIt’s always fascinating to hear what the coaches have to say behind the scenes.
The episode began with the Cowboys’ head coach addressing the entire team before their second preseason game against the Cardinals.
McCarthy has made a point of emphasizing the importance of play style since being appointed last year.
“I want you guys to get on the edge tonight,” he stated during his speech.
“We have to push ourselves to the limit.”
Tonight, our football team’s personality must take a step forward.
You’re all new this year, with 40% of you being new from the previous year.
Last year, we faced this team.
Make certain you slap it in their face tonight.
The intensity of the football game is all that matters to me tonight.

Jenny Taft, the moderator of Fox Sports 1’s Skip and Shannon: Undisputed, had a little spat with Skip Bayless after the latter fat-shamed Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy.

“I’m not aiming anything at him, but he’s a touch hefty,” Bayless added.

But, before the broadcast went to commercial, the moderator continued to slam him.
“And I’m free to have an opinion! Well, I’m allowed to say whatever I want on this show, as you are!” she added. Taft has been praised on social media for her brilliant response to Skip Bayless’ disgusting remark.

Andy Reid, who has been outspoken about his fondness for cheeseburgers, isn’t exactly svelte.
The same can be said for Bruce Arians, the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who defeated Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
Skip’s remarks were uncalled for, and Taft did an excellent job of holding him accountable for what he said on live television.

In 2020, she also worked as an AFL sideline reporter.
