Every Power 5 league’s conference championship games and winners are predicted.

The outcome of the college football conference championships could decide who makes the playoffs in 2021.
The College Football Playoff is preceded by conference championship games.
They are frequently jockeying for position for at least a New Year’s Six Bowl, propelling one club into the picture and another out.
It’s sometimes the deciding game in a school’s quest to reach the “final four” and fight for a National Championship.
The SEC Championship Game draws a lot of attention because of how highly ranked the teams in this clash are, and it almost always features Alabama, LSU, Florida, or Georgia, with a dash of Auburn thrown in for good measure.
Because to their regular-season supremacy, Ohio State and Oklahoma, among others, have been frequent conference title game participants.
Yet, with lots of hopefuls across the Power 5 conferences, the 2021 season is about to create a fresh road towards the conference title game picture.
In four months, who will you meet?
Clemson vs. Wake Forest in the ACC
UNC Winner: Clemson Clemson has been in every ACC title game since 2015, with Florida State’s victory against Georgia Tech being the most recent meeting that did not involve Dabo Swinney’s team.
This is solely a matter of conference dominance.
Few have stood a chance against Deshaun Watson, Trevor Lawrence, and the rest of the brilliance that has passed through this South Carolina school.
In Lamar Jackson’s heyday, there were a few hot games between Clemson and Louisville, but the rest of the conference has tanked throughout his reign, led by the Seminoles’ sinking ship.
The Tigers are expected to return to the conference championship game in 2021.
Even with the talent they lost in the most recent NFL Draft, no one in a lackluster ACC Atlantic stands in their way.
There’s a new quarterback and several young skill position players, but they are just the next generation of NFL talent for Swinney, much like Alabama.
North Carolina and Miami are the two teams in the Coastal Division that can win their division.
The former has lost a lot of quality, but the latter has a newcomer in DEriq King, who is recovering from an ACL tear.
A healthy quarterback helps the Hurricanes’ chances, but UNC has Sam Howell, a possible Heisman candidate and a high first-round choice in next year’s draft.
The Tar Heels will be fine if his offensive line holds up.
Also, their first six or seven games may all be victories.
Still, this is Clemson’s conference championship game to lose.
They are miles ahead of Mack Brown’s outstanding group.
While their schedule is poor, a defeat could have an influence on the Tigers’ College Football Playoff standings, so they’ll need to be perfect from start to finish.
It is feasible.

To attend college football games, the Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers will require vaccination documentation or a negative COVID-19 test.

OREGON, EUGENE
— Oregon and Oregon State were the first Power 5 schools to declare that persons above the age of 12 will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test in order to attend football games.
The decision was taken with public health authorities and “peer institutions in the state,” according to Oregon’s release on Friday. The negative test result must be from within three days of the event.
The mandate takes effect on Monday, ending a week in which state officials warned of fast filling hospitals as daily recorded cases hit new highs.
Several Pac-12 colleges have mandated that students and employees get vaccinated or request for an exemption.
On September 1, the Oregon football team will kick off its season at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, which has a capacity of 54,000.
Fresno State was defeated by a score of 4 to 1.
On September 1, Oregon State kicks off its home schedule at Reser Stadium.
Hawaii is favored by 11 points.
Due to a recent COVID-19 spike, Hawaii became the first major college football school to announce that it would have no fans in attendance for its first sporting activities of the season.
Hawaii’s first home football game is scheduled for September.
Against Portland State, the score was 5 to 1.
The announcements come just a week after Tulane University in New Orleans became the first NCAA Division I institution to require proof of vaccination or a negative test to attend sporting events.
Tulane’s decision was prompted by a city rule that also affects the NFL’s New Orleans Saints, although school officials said they were working to implement the policy on their own.

Cam Newton stakes his claim as the Patriots’ No. 1 quarterback in two more games on Friday.

With only two games remaining until the regular season begins, expect to see more starters and familiar names on the field this week.
The New England Patriots traveled to Philadelphia to play the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, a game in which Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was scratched due to sickness, and the Patriots won.
Two more games begin on Friday, including the season’s first ESPN telecast.
The game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Arizona Cardinals is also a collegiate reunion, with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes facing off against Kliff Kingsbury, his Texas Tech coach — at least for a series or two.
The majority of the action takes place on Saturday, with ten games scheduled.
The day begins with a matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Chicago Bears in the afternoon, followed by a matchup between the New York Jets and the Green Bay Packers in the evening.

On Sunday, the New York Giants take on the Cleveland Browns in one of two games, while Trevor Lawrence makes his Monday Night Football debut (kind of) when the Jacksonville Jaguars visit the New Orleans Saints.

Newton looked as at ease as he has as a Patriot, albeit against the Eagles’ second-string defense, with his 28-yard touchdown pass to receiver Jakobi Meyers coming after Meyers gave him a hand signal to indicate his intentions before the snap.
From a pre-snap communication aspect, this indicates a quarterback and wide receiver who are at the top of their game.
Nevertheless, in relief, Mac Jones had some memorable highlights, including a 17-play, 91-yard drive that ate up 9:04 of the clock.
Jones completed 13 of 19 passes for 146 yards on four drives.

29) DeVonta Smith, a rookie receiver, made his preseason debut and had two catches for 19 yards on four targets in one half of action.
The fact that Smith moved smoothly and didn’t appear to be hampered by the left MCL sprain that kept him out of practice for two weeks was far more important than the stat line.
On his second grab of the night, he started inside, hit the brakes, and cut back out for a 10-yard reception, exhibiting flashes of his Heisman Trophy-winning prowess.
Smith’s night began with a couple of drops on a pair of poor passes from Joe Flacco (who started in place of an ill Jalen Hurts), but he smoothed out as the game proceeded and sprang open quite routinely.
Overall, it was a good warmup for the regular season opening against the Atlanta Falcons on September 1st.

For home games, the Las Vegas Raiders will demand spectators to show confirmation of Covid-19 vaccine.

The NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders stated Monday that fans will be required to provide confirmation of Covid-19 immunization in order to attend home games this season at their glittering new Allegiant Stadium. By Jill Martin, Kay Jones, and Eric Levenson, CNN
The immunization requirement will take effect on September 13, the day before the team’s first regular-season home game against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.
Fans will be able to attend home games without having to wear a mask as a result of this decision, according to the press release.
The policy on vaccines and no masks is the first of its type in the NFL.
The Raiders relocated to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas last year, but due to the pandemic, no fans were allowed to attend games.
“Our number one priority has always been health and safety,” Raiders owner Mark Davis said in a statement.
“After consulting with Governor Sisolak and other community leaders, this policy ensures that we will be able to operate at full capacity for the entire season without masks for fully vaccinated fans,” says the new rule.
New measures for huge events in the state were announced by Steve Sisolak.
Any event with a capacity of 4,000 people or more can either compel all attendees to wear masks or provide masking exemptions to those who demonstrate proof of vaccination.
Indoors, he said, children under the age of 12 and those who are just partially vaccinated must still wear a mask.
“My goal with today’s new policy decision is to give the private sector additional options with a public benefit — the freedom to remove their mask during a concert or game if they’re completely vaccinated,” Sisolak said.
The vaccine mandate is the latest example of the NFL leveraging its enormous clout to promote Covid-19 vaccines, which offer excellent protection against infection and serious illness.
Those who have been inoculated have been given vast liberties, while those who have not been vaccinated are subjected to onerous limitations and continuous testing.
Furthermore, the NFL has stated that breakouts among unvaccinated players might result in forfeits and jeopardize a team’s playoff chances.
The incentives were effective.
The Atlanta Falcons became the first NFL team to get their entire roster immunized against Covid-19 on Monday, achieving a pristine 100% immunization rate.
The squad said on its website that “each player will now experience the perks of being able to work out and eat together.”
“They won’t have to test every day, they won’t have to wear masks throughout the facility, and they won’t have to quarantine after close contact with someone who tests positive,” the NFL told CNN last week.
According to the league, the lowest club had a 73% success rate.

Jamal Adams signs a four-year contract deal with the Seahawks.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Jamal Adams and the Seahawks have agreed to terms on a four-year, $70 million contract extension.
According to reports, the contract includes a $38 million guarantee, making him the highest-paid safety in the NFL.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the contract may be worth up to $72 million over four years, with club and individual performance bonuses.
Adams, 25, was in the final year of his rookie contract, with a fifth-year option for $9.86 million this season.
While talks progressed, Adams, one of Seattle’s most important defensive playmakers, sat off practice.
In 2020, he set the NFL record for sacks by a defensive back with 9.5 in just 12 games.
Despite missing four games due to a groin injury, he still managed 83 total tackles and a forced fumble.
He was selected to his third Pro Bowl and was named to the All-Pro Second Team for the second year in a row.

The Atlanta Falcons are the first NFL team to achieve a 100% vaccination rate. The Atlanta Falcons have completed their team-wide COVID-19 vaccination. All of the Atlanta Falcons’ players have gotten the COVID-19 vaccine, making them the first NFL team to do so.

The defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ head coach, Bruce Arians, told reporters earlier this month that he expects his team to be close to 100 percent vaccinated for their season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on September 9.

The New Orleans Saints stated last week that spectators attending home games at the Superdome will be required to wear masks and show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test done within 72 hours of the event.

Trey Lance, a rookie for the 49ers, impresses with an 80-yard touchdown pass in his preseason debut.

Trey Lance, the 49ers’ first-round quarterback, turned a lot of heads with his first professional completion, which won’t figure in his official rookie stats.
On his second drive, Lance threw an 80-yard bomb to Trent Sherfield to put the 49ers on the board against the Chiefs on Saturday night.
After Jimmy Garoppolo started the opening series, he entered the game on the 49ers’ second series.
