The Raiders contacted the Bears before of free agency to inquire about a Khalil Mack reunion, according to sources.

Jon Gruden wants to win, and there have been occasions during the Raiders’ three non-winning seasons when he has been visibly unhappy.
He admitted to crying for three days after transferring former NFL defensive player of the year Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears shortly before the start of his return season in 2018.The Raiders have had a clear need for a proven pass rusher since trading Mack to the Bears over three years ago, and when free agency started in March, they targeted and expected to acquire Yannick Ngakoue.
The Bears were dealing with serious salary-cap concerns, forcing them to release All-Pro cornerback Kyle Fuller and restructure other contracts, and the Raiders decided it was worth a risk.
The Bears were not interested, according to sources, and the Raiders moved ahead and signed Ngakoue to a two-year, $26 million contract. Raiders officials had no comment, since they don’t discuss about trade proposals given or took, even the most interesting ones.Gruden received fire from the media when he sold Mack for a slew of draft picks, including two first-rounders, nine days before the 2018 season began.

Chandler Jones, a Cardinals linebacker, has requested a trade because he is unhappy with his salary.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Cardinals outside linebacker Chandler Jones has requested a trade.
According to the article, Jones is dissatisfied with his present deal and “future with the squad.”
He is not expected to be traded by the organization, and he is expected to attend training camp.
Jones, 32, was once one of the NFL’s most sought-after pass rushers, but he is coming off one of his most challenging seasons.
Jones tore his bicep against the Jets in Week 5 and was out for the remainder of the season.
In five appearances in 2020, he had 11 tackles and one sack.
He signed a five-year, $82.5 million contract in 2017 and is now in the final year of it.
He’ll be a free agent next offseason after earning $15.5 million this season.
The Cardinals intended to team Jones on the edges with newly acquired JJ Watt, but unless Jones signs a contract deal, they risk losing him to free agency.
Jones was second in defensive player of the year voting in 2019, with 19 sacks, and was chosen First-Team All Pro in both 2017 and 2019.
Last season, Arizona concluded with an 8-8 record.
